Welcome to Te Whānau Ipurangi Ō te Au

Society overview

Chairman Richard Orzecki, The Society supports all Māori related projects on the Net. We are especially passionate about the use of the TLD maori.nz.
The executive komiti held a Hui to discuss the on going focus of the New Zealand Māori internet Society. The venue was 17 Domain Road Otaki.
We had a good meeting and one outcome is that we have decided to use our contacts at the NZ Maori Business Association and encourage Maori businesses to create a web presence

Our Vision

We were privileged to present awards at the inaugural presentation evening in Otaki. The meeting was well attended by businesses and members of the public as well as 3 sitting members of Parliament.

The president of the Māori Party, Professor Dr Whatarangi Winiata gave the opening speech and Richard Orzecki, Chairman of te Whānau Ipurangi Ō te Au spoke on behalf of the Sponsors.

The  presentation of the Excellence of Service Award was by Col Heke , Secretary of te Whānau Ipurangi Ō te Au, assisted by Erana Wineti one of our executive members to te Rununga Ō Raukawa.
